Reef Condor Framing

In Linz we open with the work, not a banner. Framing is a craft of edges, depths, and quiet protection. Reef Condor Framing helps collectors, families, and studios present prints, drawings, and textiles with mats and mouldings chosen for the piece — not for a trend chart.

Bring artwork flat and dry. We discuss glass options, spacer needs, and whether a float mount or a classic window serves the object better. Queen Street keeps a tidy consultation counter and a workshop behind where corners are cut clean and dust stays out of the stack.

Many clients arrive with a piece that already lives in their home in mind: hallway light, a sofa wall, or a desk that catches afternoon glare. We talk through those conditions before cutting board so the finished frame feels settled in the room, not improvised. Small editions and single works get the same careful sequence — measure twice, hinge with archival habits, and leave breathing room where the paper asks for it.

Numbered chapters

01

Listen to the piece

We note paper type, deckle edges, signatures, and how much margin must remain visible. Conservation instincts beat fashion every time.

02

Choose moulding character

Slim ash, deeper oak profiles, painted finishes — selected to support, not shout over, the artwork.

03

Mat and glazing

Window proportions, board colour, and glazing choices are set together so reflections and depth feel intentional.

04

Assemble and hand-back

Hardware, bumpers, and hanging guidance finish the job. You leave with care notes for humidity and light.
